Greenville 2016 FLDD
The Atlantic Institute organized it's Annual Future Leaders of Dialogue Dinner on Tuesday, November 1st at Furman University’s beautiful Younts Conference Center. The theme of the program was “Discovery, Partnership, Change,” teaching students how to discover their leadership capacity, create peer-to-peer partnerships, and create positive change in their communities. Our speaker was Pamela Evette, President/CEO of Quality Business Solutions, and our MC was Jed Dews, Diversity and Inclusion Chair, Pulse Young Professionals, Greenville Chamber of Commerce. Pamela shared a lot of her wisdom on life and work with the audience.
This dinner was sponsored by Greenville Tech Honors Program, Greenville Tech Executive Affairs Office, Greenville Tech Latino Student Association, North Greenville University College of Humanities, St. Joseph’s Catholic School, and Furman Interfaith Youth Core.
Table Discussions centered around fearlessness, staying the course, and essential leadership qualities. Each table’s discussion was summarized and presented to the other attendees by a student table moderator. Following this, names of students were drawn to participate in the Leadership Bridge Trip to Columbia in February.
