Atlantic Institute invites you to our Yearly Interfaith Event!
The Tour of Faiths is one of our absolute favorite events each year and we are dedicated to providing an experience as close to the in person Tour of Faiths program that we all remember.
This year we will be working with faith organizations throughout South Carolina but also some historic churches in major cities. We will have the availability for those in DC to attend one of our Tours of Faith there as well.
Some of our events this year will be hybrid, so please join us in person if you can, but we will still have the ability to be remote for those of you in different states/countries.
Join us on this journey of spiritual discovery!
Each Virtual Tour will have different Zoom links, please sign up for each event separately.

Students of Christian Science strive to follow Jesus' teachings and example, especially his commands to his disciples to "heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils" (Matt. 10:8), and that "he that believes in me, the works that I do, will he do also" (John 14:12). The essence of faith is fewness of words and abundance of deeds. The fundamental purpose animating the Faith of God is to promote the unity of the human race and to foster the spirit of love and fellowship among all people. The well-being of mankind, its peace and security, are unattainable unless and until its unity is firmly established. So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth.

Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at 5pm Old North Church and Historic Site Boston MA
The Old North Church & Historic Site is managed by The Old North Foundation, a 501(c)3 secular nonprofit. The enduring fame of Old North began on the evening of April 18, 1775, when the church sexton, Robert Newman, and Vestryman Capt. John Pulling, Jr. climbed the steeple and held high two lanterns as a signal from Paul Revere that the British were marching to Lexington and Concord by sea across the Charles River and not by land. This fateful event ignited the American Revolution. Built in 1723, Christ Church in the City of Boston, known to all as the Old North Church, is Boston’s oldest surviving church building and one of the most visited historical site in the city.

This talk will be about our recent Baha'i pilgrimage to Haifa, Israel. My husband and I just returned from this trip which was June 6-14, 2022. The Baha'i Faith historical connection to Israel will be explained and historical places that we visited be shown. Mount Carmel in Haifa is beautified by the Baha'i gardens that decorate the mountain, and the Shrine of the Bab with golden dome sitting halfway up the mountain. Founder of the Baha'i Faith, Baha'u'llah, was banished here and sent to Akka, a prison city at the time.
